2017 CHURCH CALENDARS: For anyone wishing to order a 2017 United Church calendar (or several), please use the sign-up sheet posted on the door of the church office and/or at the back of the room during coffee and conversation. Cost of calendars is $6 each.
So You Think You Can Cook: Saturday, October 22 at 7pm. Bring your cooked item in early and we will cut it up into sample pieces…we will have sample cups and Dixie cups and spoons and toothpicks for our “tasters”. It’s two dollars to get in but we encourage people to bring quarters, loonies and toonies to put into the container at each cook’s station to make your vote. We will brew some tea and coffee to “cleanse your palate” between stations. It will be an enjoyable evening for all!
Update from the SPC Search Committee: The search committee has let the SPC executive know that they are now in the process of conducting interviews. We thank them for their commitment and hard work, and for keeping our congregations informed.
